Terms of Service

Last updated 1 September 2026

The agreement

These terms apply between LeadPilot and the business using the service. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

What we provide

LeadPilot replies to your incoming sales enquiries by text message, asks the qualifying questions you configure, and books appointments into your connected calendar. It works alongside your existing website and calendar rather than replacing them.

Your responsibilities

  • Consent to message. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to text the people whose details you send us, and for complying with the messaging rules that apply where you operate — including US requirements such as A2P registration.
  • What you tell the assistant. It can only repeat what you write in your settings. You are responsible for the accuracy of that information.
  • Your account. Keep your password and API keys secret. Anything done with your API key is treated as done by you.
  • Lawful use. No unsolicited bulk messaging, no impersonation, and nothing illegal.

What the assistant is, and is not

The assistant writes messages. It is instructed never to quote prices, invent appointment times, or promise anything you have not told it — and it is designed to hand over to a person when it is unsure. But it is automated software, and automated software can get things wrong.

You remain responsible for what your business communicates. We recommend reviewing your conversations, particularly in the first weeks. It does not provide legal, medical, financial or insurance advice, and must not be configured to.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service depends on third parties — including Google, OpenAI, Twilio and our hosting providers — and an outage at any of them can interrupt it.

Safety limits are built in and may pause automated replies: caps on messages per conversation and monthly spending limits. When a limit is reached the conversation is flagged for you rather than continuing automatically.

Your data

Your data remains yours. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Appointments we create stay in your Google Calendar, and remain there if you stop using LeadPilot.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully, that is abusing the service, or that is generating costs far beyond normal use.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost business, lost profits, or indirect losses arising from use of the service, including a missed or mis-booked appointment.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
